Description: Offered here is an extremely nice example of a RARE and early Commodore AMIGA 500 computer. The first release of this computer and includes the "NEW" emblem on the box. This emblem was dropped in later editions. I hooked this up today to an Amiga monitor and the unit does boot to screen shown. I was unable to test the drive as I no longer have any known working boot disks but when any disk is inserted it does attempt to read it. This unit is in exceptional condition with little to no yellowing. All expansion covers are present. There is a switch on the side but I am not sure of its function. No further testing done. Sold as parts or repair as I do not warranty 40 year old computers. Comes in an Amiga box as shown and includes mouse and power supply (also in excellent condition). Box is average. No interior packaging. Overall a nice piece to be added to any computer or Commodore collection that is rarely offered for sale.
