Description: This 1992 Mexico-made Fender Precision Bass has spent most of its life in its case. It’s been in the same family since new. All original except the strings. Plays fast with low action & spot-on intonation. Almost zero fret wear. Weighs 8lbs. Schaller-licensed tuners. Truss rod moves freely & smoothly. Nicely figured neck. Small cosmetic imperfections but nothing through the finish. Pickguard is cracked at the jack as shown but I wanted to leave it all original (replacements can be had for under $10). Volume pot is noisy when turned, likely from lack of use & may improve over time.. Overall, a solid 8/10 condition. The case is a molded Squier by Fender. It’s mostly intended to protect the bass during shipping but is also perfectly useable. Interior is great & fitted to a P Bass, but the top doesn’t stay upright when open (the connecting straps need regluing). The plastic exterior is warped but intact except for one corner, which I’ve protected w/duct tape. Handle & all latches are fully functional. Shipping is a flat $75 within the contiguous US.
