Description: This classic Fenton hobnail milk glass covered butter dish, pattern #3977, measures approximately 7 1/2" long by 3 5/8" wide by 2 5/8" tall. Produced between 1954-1978. There is no marking on the base narrowing down the date to 1970 or earlier. Intended for 1/4lb or one stick of butter. Excellent, like new condition with no chips or cracks.
