Description: Vintage Hand Carved Aztec Marble/Onyx 32-Piece Chess Set With Travel Case, Board Imprint on Outside This 32-piece chess set is in very good, used condition. The pieces are in overall great condition but may have scratches or chips that I didn't notice. The Kings stand about 4" tall while the Queens are 3.5" tall. The wooden case doubles as a playing board by opening it completely up and flipping it over. The case, which measures about 17.25" x 8.75" x 3.5", shows scratches and scrapes plus a slight split in one are that I tried to capture in a photo. The foam rubber holding the pieces in the case is removeable. I believe this set dates from the late 1970s or early 1980s. See all the photos for overall conditions of case and playing pieces.
