The brochures show both interior and exterior black and white photos of the properties. Prices are generally about $30,000 - $60,000 for a magnificent home and hundreds of acres. Some of the features considered amenities of the day are asbestos shingles and tiles, access to electrical and telephone lines, and whether or not a property was located along a milk delivery route. These items are all in very good condition. Their only flaw is light tanning from age. Together the brochures feature about 16 Virginia estates. They would be of interest to folks who collect items related to Southern architecture or Virginia history. They would also be of interest to folks who collect vintage advertising ephemera.
