Vintage Mavic groupset: cranks, derailleurs, hubs, seatpost, BB, stem, handlebar

Description: Vintage Mavic Groupset and cockpit. Includes Mavic crankset, front and rear derailleurs, seatpost, bottom bracket, hubs, skewers, stem, handlebars, brake levers. Also includes Sachs freewheel and Shimano 105 brakes. All mechanical components are functional. Details and condition:Mavic Seatpost: 27.2mm x 235mm. min insertion to rails is approx. 170mm. Hard anodized. Scrapes, blemishes, grease present.Mavic Starfish crankset: 172.5mm 53/39T. Scrapes and shoe wear present. Pedal threads are clean, Spindle interfaces are square although the outbound side of the non-drive has some markings from the threads of a crankpuller (pictured). The in-bound is square and it has no issues locking up. Includes bolts and caps.Mavic Front Derailleur: 862 Braze on, double. I've seen the nickel finish chip on a lot of these - this one has no chipping. Scrapes, wear, grease present. FunctionalMavic Rear Derailleur: 801 (I think) short cage. Includes washer that pins around the hanger. Various scrapes on parallelogram,pulley cages, body. Original mavic pulleys have wear. Includes all necessary cable stop, pinch bolt, limit screws. FunctionalMavic Hubs: front and rear 501 (I think). front is 100mm rear is 126mm freewheel. Both are 32h. Includes matching Mavic QR skewers. No play in hubs when clamped in truing stand. Rear is smooth. Front spins well, but is a bit noisier - dry, not gritty sounding. Wear, fade, scrapes, blemishes, marring of spoke holes and flanges present.Mavic Bottom Bracket: 114mm spindle. Worked with crankset listed here. No play, smooth bearings. When this was on the bike, the cranks spun an impressively long time. Threads and spindle interfaces clean. Cosmetic wear. Requires BB shell to be refaced to 45 degree chamferModolo Mavic Brake Levers: Modolo Mavic. Scrapes, road rash, dirt and grime present. Springs engage. FunctionalMavic Stem: 1" quill, 26.0 clamp. Various scrapes all over especially on quill and in an area above clamp. Wear and blemishes present.Mavic Handlebar: 350. Scrapes, blemishes, old tape present. Sachs LT 98 Freewheel: 7 speed, 13-26T. Spins smooth, freehub engages but sounds a bit muted. Hard to know how this behaves when it isn't on a bike. Could need lubrication. Wear, grease present.Shimano 105 brake levers: Front and rear BR-1050. Functional, pads are in great shape. Wear, dirt, blemishes present. includes all necessary clamping bolts, stops, fixing bolts. I have done my best to inspect, photograph, and describe the general condition of all components as accurately as possible.The components are being sold as-is.
