Description: Rare vintage Gulf oil advertising metal Santa Claus mailbox. Made by the Advertising Metal Display Co. Comes with a stack of the original letters and Gulf branded envelopes. These are in varying states of wear and have condition issues, but have stayed with the mailbox and are incredibly rare in their own right. Box is in original, unrestored condition with surface rust and patina throughout. The two bottom hinges for the front cover are broken, but the cover stays on properly for display when latched closed. Overall a great addition to any oil and gas or Christmas ephemera collection.
