Description: This is a gorgeous vintage Santo Domingo natural turquoise heishi, coral, shell and sterling melon and bench bead necklace. It was purchased from an estate in Tucson, Arizona. It was made by an unknown artist and has been tested as sterling. This beautiful necklace was strung on the original sinew that was fraying so it was restrung on wire. The turquoise heishi ranges from 4 to 8mm. The jacla at the bottom is shell. The melon beads are just under one inch long and the bench beads are 6mm; the closure is a hook and eye. All findings are antique sterling. Lovely old heishi, which is very hard to find now. The length is 21 1/2 linches and the weight is 27.5 grams. A gift box is included with purchase.
