Description: Here is something you don't see often---a gift box made in the shape of an old oak wall telephone like the ones made by Kellogg and Western Electric in the early 1900's. Good quality construction with a single steel bell and painted wood mouthpiece and receiver. When you open it you see that it is a treasure/gift box and not a toy. Inscription reads, "1905 "Hello Central Give Me Heaven" to Lizzie from Wilbur & Martha." Included inside was a vintage photo of possibly Wilbur making the call! Truly unique item and the perfect way to give a gift to a vintage candlestick and wall phone collector. Measures about 10" X 5" and is in good condition with some edge wear here and there.
