Description: VINTAGE WILTON 2-1/2” TODDLER BULLET VISE. Beautifully Restored. Vintage Wilton Vise Toddler. Restored, Beautiful American made vise, used With POWRARM JR. Date on key way 9 47, that puts it at September 1947. Its 77 years old. Vise made in Chicago, ILL POWRARM made in Schiller Park, ILL This is a work of art and a piece of history. Moves smoothly, jaws come together. No cracks or repairs. The upper base of the powrarm does not seem to be original, however it looks, fits and operates just fine. Excellent condition. It has been completely restored. Please take a close look at the pictures. The vise was completely disassembled, painted, cleaned, sandblasted, primed and given several coats of hammered paint. All other metal surfaces were cleaned, wire brushed and polished. Grease was added to the parts needing it and the vise was reassembled. The adjusting mechanism operates smoothly, the swivel base moves easily and freely. This vise is very old, It was restored, however the vise is still used and its shows some wear in different areas, some scratches. There is a small hole on the body of the movable jaw. Please look at all the pictures for condition. Please ask questions if not sure about condition. The Wilton "toddler" vises are one of the most collected vise, by numbers and dollars. It is truly a cult vise, the extreme interest in them never seems to end.
