This is a VERY GOOD PLUS hardcover in a VERY GOOD PLUS dust jacket. Clean and tight with no markings. Very clean inside and out. Tips and ends sharp. Binding cloth has a bit of fading at the spine, else Fine. Interior is Fine (Pristine) with no signs of handling, no foxing, although the pages are slightly age-toned. Small ownership stamp of Francis Marion Webster on front pastedown. Dust jacket has original price of 7/6 on spine and has minor shallow chips at spine ends. Dust jacket presents beautifully in brand new mylar protector (removable). Literary critic Harold Bloom called Between the Acts the most important work in the Woolf canon. "Between the Acts tells the story of a play within a play, set against the backdrop of a small English village in the years leading up to World War II.
