Description: Let us just say up front: We are not professionals & are selling this dress AS IS. We have never listed anything in this age & category before. We only know the info on these items because the sweet owner included a note with the dress & additional items we will be listing from this era (hand stitched aprons, cape, pillowcase/curtain). The owner entered these items in era related events & the info she included stated that her grandmother, the owner/creator, of the dress lived from July 1860 to November 1938. Estimating the dress to be created between 1880 & 1890 based on the stories told to her granddaughter. The dress needs repaired. The largest holes are under the left armpit with a small hole & other hole forming under the right armpit. The rest of the sleeves & cuffs are in good condition. The waist is in good condition. It does not have a zipper or buttons which common for this era.There are a few tiny holes throughout the skirt. The modesty piece has been repaired. Otherwise it is in good to great condition for its age.Pictures included images of the inside & the out so you can see the original stitching.
