Description: This is for a rather large vintage natural heavy duty woven ratton wicker handled basket. Piece is appx 15 inches tall total top of handle to bottom. Open ends are appx 19.5 inches across and 21.5 inches across. Side heights also vary. Heights at sides range from 10.5 inches to 10.75 inches on one side white opposite ranges from 10 3/8 to 10.5 inches. The easiest way to give overall sizing is to measure ( top view looking down on basket) in a X. Left corner of basket down across to right bottom corner then opposite side. . Measurements are 31.25 inches and other measurenent is 28 inches. This is not a perfectly squared off basket. One opening end is slightly wider than other as well. Common in hand woven pieces. Not 100% what this large basket was ment for. We have used on floor and on a large buffet with seasonal decor. Large size with many uses. Use as you wish. Nice sized.
