Description: Here we have up for sale is a Steel Traveling Safe Handle Coin Bank W.F. BURNS Co. CHICAGO UNION TRUST COMPANY PHILADELPHIA # 6942PATENTED JAN.1st, 1901 Description Deposit coins and bills in bank as they are earned. This bank has only 1 slot for coins, on the side. Opposite side has a bill hole. Heavy thick copper plated steel construction. Age 100+ years old. Patented January 1st, 1901Made by W.F. BURNS CO., CHICAGO 1 new key shown to open front access panel included. I had an original quality key. Bank case is stamped # L 6942, a heavy steel copper plated case. Nice outside case, smooth plated finish. Has patina. CONDITION This bank is in nice condition, has a very patina copper Japanned finish. No corrosion, smooth plated finish no dents or dings. Overall nice working condition. Appears to be made of magnetic steel copper plated. 4 1/2 " long, 2 1/4 " wide, 3 1/4" tall. Access panel door opens nicely and shuts proper. 1 original key included work smoothly as expected. Name plate clean and corrosion free. Inside coin flipper trap intact & works. Inside clean.
