Description: Up for sale today is this life-size (48in) alien from the original X-Files television series. I believe 75 of these were made for the show then locked in a vault in the 90’s until they were sold in a public auction. This one has held up great especially considering its age. There is some foam wear on the back and some of the latex has creased and stiffened a bit over time but is overall quite flexible and doesn’t show signs of rot. These are quite sought after props as this alien has also since become an internet meme known as Lil Mayo. The last one of these sold at Heritage Auctions in 2023 for over 5k.
