Description: A comprehensive look at the work of visionary contemporary architect, artist and designer Zaha Hadid (1950-2016). This handsome hardback book features stunning color photographs accompanied by extensive explanatory text, and both built and unbuilt designs. Among the Iraqi-British Hadid's most famous works: The Guggenheim-Hermitage Museum in Lithuania, the Aquatics Centre for the 2012 London Olympics, the Vitra Fire Station in Germany, and the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati. I could not get good pictures of the cover or the interior pages because of the high gloss finish. I had to use autocorrect to bring out the detail and show the small loss to the design on the front cover. This made the cover look more gray than it actually is. Be assured that the cover is black with silver design and shiny red titles, the pages and photographs are clean, unmarked, and in unread condition. There is a small ripple to the pages when the book is viewed from the top (see photo) but it is not apparent in looking at the individual pages.
